Annie Moscow’s latest CD release, Passing Trains climbed to #20 on the Folk-DJ charts. Rachael Nicole Gold has toured with many well-known entertainers, including Sister Sledge and Donna Summer. Moscow and Gold have been a songwriting team for over thirty years, and have had their music recording by diverse artists ranging from Sister Sledge to Sarah Vaughn to Mickey Mouse.

What do you get when you take the sweet, poignant essence of folk music, and put it in the hands of two keyboardist / arrangers with jazz, classical and R&B influences?
Welcome to GIRLS ON THE ROAD, the Folktronica Fusion duo of singer/songwriter/keyboardists Annie Moscow and Rachael Nicole Gold.
Their music draws on diverse influences ranging from Debussy, Charles Ives and the Beatles, to Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell and Bruce Hornsby.
Annie Moscow is a touring singer/songwriter. She studied classical piano, jazz and composition at Indiana University.
Moscow writes and performs regularly for the Herberger Lunchtime Theater where she has completed her 12th season. Her latest CD, Passing Trains, climbed to #20 on the Folk-DJ charts.
Rachael Nicole Gold is a singer/songwriter & multi-instrumentalist. Over the past thirty years she has performed extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Ms. Gold attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles where she studied arranging and composition under legendary orchestrator / composers such as Dick Grove, Nelson Riddle, Clare Fischer, Tom Scott and Lalo Schifrin.
Rachael Nicole Gold has recorded and toured with many well-known entertainers, including Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, as well as written, produced and arranged for film & TV.
Moscow and Gold have collaborated on various recording and performing projects for over thirty years, including a stint as a children’s duo in the early 90’s. They toured the country as Melonball Music and garnered three hits on national kids’ Radio Aaahs.
The Duo has also composed music together for film, television and a variety of recording artists ranging from Sarah Vaughn to Sister Sledge to Mickey Mouse.
Now back together as performers, audiences will be thoroughly entertained with the unique, inventive and always evolving sound of GIRLS ON THE ROAD.
